Photographing Water

 Station 1:

F-Stop: F/5.6

Shutter Speed: 1/200

1. It wasn't as easy to get a good shot because with the flash being on, it made it a little more difficult to take multiple pictures in one go and also match the time taking the pictures with the drops.

2. Something I liked with shooting the water with flash was that the ringlets and drop itself were more apparent and distinct in the image rather than taking a picture without flash.

Station 2:

F-Stop: F/5.6

Shutter Speed: 1/320

1. It was fairly easy to get a good shot because with the flash being off, we were able to capture more pictures at a higher speed; and hence got a shot of the droplet quicker.

2. Something I did not like about shooting the water without flash was that comparative to the first picture with flash, the ripples of the water and droplet itself aren't as prominent.

Station 3:

F-Stop: F/4.5

Shutter Speed: 1/200

1. It wasn't easy to get a good shot for this station because the flash was on, making it more difficult to take a clear picture of the droplet. Moreover, the pictures continuously came out blurry and with dark lighting.

2. Something I did not like about shooting the colored water with flash was that it was harder to time and take the picture with the droplet began to form.

Station 4:

F-Stop: F/5.3

Shutter Speed: 1/1000

1. Yes, it was fairly easy to get a good shot for this station because there was no flash and hence we could capture more of the color movements in the water in a shorter span of time (cooler patterns).

2. The creative adjustments that were made for this shot included taking multiple attempts with various colors to see which ones complimented each other the best and also took shots in different areas of the bowl.

3. Something I liked with taking pictures in this station without flash was that I was able to capture more images in a quicker amount of time, ultimately allowing me to see more patterns that occured.
