Shorebreak

 Absent Questions:

1. Clark started taking photographs in 2007.

2. Clark was born in Napa, California in 1968.

3. Clark started taking photographs because his wife came home one day with a picture of a wave, and he told her to not buy anymore because he spends most of his time on the ocean and could take those pictures himself. He enjoys taking photographs because he loves the shorebreak and wanted to take pictures for his house.

3. Clark still photographs now because the moment of capturing the perfect shot makes all the life threatening sacrifices in the waves worth it.

4. Clark considers his specialty as shorebreak, which is a thick lot of water that breaks on the sand.

4. Clarks wife inspired him to begin photographing.

4. Clark photographs take place at the beaches/oceans where there are large waves. He normally captures the waves of beaches in Hawaii.

Title: Rainbow Shave Ice

Depth/Emphasis: There is a large amount of depth in this image that can be seen through the wave where the palm trees and land are. As for the emphasis, my eye was primarily drawn to the colors of the wave and then moved to the wave itself.

Like: I really like this image because of the various colors that are present instead of it solely being a blue wave and green trees. Moreover, the trees are centered within the opening on the wave.

Title: Bird's Eye

Depth/Emphasis: I wouldn't necessarily say there is much depth in this image, however there is a large emphasis on the final parts of the wave where there is the white foam and also the white streaks leading into that.

Like: I like this image because it provides a different perspective on the wave rather than an angle that every human can get. Moreover, I like the details on how you can see the formation/pattern of the waves as it dies down.
